Prepaid Gift Card Experience Design
EnKash aimed to position its prepaid gift cards as a secure, premium, and enterprise-ready solution for rewards, incentives, and controlled payouts.
The objective was to design not just a digital experience, but a complete product ecosystem that reflects trust, compliance, and brand maturity.

Challenge
The current card:
• Looked corporate but not memorable
• Had low emotional recall
• Did not visually communicate “gift” or “reward”
• Felt transactional rather than celebratory
For enterprises, it worked.
For recipients, it did not create delight.
The Proposed Design
The new design introduces:
• A visual cue of gifting through symbolic imagery
• Warmer color tones
• Occasion-led storytelling
• Better brand visibility
• Strong but subtle compliance alignment
Instead of feeling like a financial instrument, the card now feels like a reward experience.

Beyond the Card
This project extended beyond the card surface.
It included:
• Envelope design
• Welcome letter
• PIN mailer
• Activation instructions
• Regulatory disclaimers placement
• Complete stationery system
All layouts were designed in accordance with RBI and RuPay branding and regulatory standards.
Every visual choice was reviewed against compliance requirements.
“Gifting should never feel transactional. With our prepaid gift cards, we’re transforming rewards into meaningful experiences — simple to send, powerful to receive.”

Strategic Outcome
This was not a cosmetic change. It was a repositioning exercise.
The card now communicates what it is meant to represent — reward, recognition, and value — while remaining fully compliant and enterprise-ready.
